The computer has completely transformed the design industry, be it through the digitisation of graphic design through to the introduction of web design. Design is a broad area and involves many areas. Fashion design, interior design, product design and architecture are all forms of design yet completely exclusive to one another.

Jonathan Ive of Apple, Jamie Hewlett (co-creator of Gorilaz and Tank Girl) and Saul Bass (creator of iconic movie title sequences like Diagnosis of a Murder) are some of our favourite design graduates, although you will often see and use the work of designers every day without thinking.
