Business and Contract Law

Operating a business entails many key responsibilities, not least of which is the responsibility to operate within the law. If you work in the Legal Department of your company you will be required to deal with a wide range of legal issues on a regular basis. For example, areas where knowledge of the relevant law is required include: sales transactions (contract law), advertising, presentation of products, health and safety, employment law, Terms & Conditions of trading, consumer protection, and copyright law.

If you are in business, you will need at least a basic knowledge of these issues, and the higher your position the greater the necessity for expertise in business and contract law.

Many bachelors programs will include legal or law courses. If you are already in business and just wish to improve your knowledge and skill in this area, you may wish to consider a Certificate or Diploma course.
